Leads the team responsible for finance, corporate planning, business development, commercial, sustainable development and low carbon technology.
Andy O'Brien is chief financial officer and executive vice president, Strategy and Commercial. In this capacity, he oversees the teams responsible for finance, corporate planning, business development, commercial, sustainable development and low carbon technology.
Andy has more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He previously served in leadership roles as senior vice president, Global Operations; vice president and treasurer; vice president, Corporate Planning and Development; manager, Lower 48 Finance; and manager, Investor Relations.
He began his career with predecessor company Conoco in 1997 as a financial analyst in Warwick, England. Throughout his career, he has served in a variety of finance, planning and strategy roles in the U.K., Canada, Alaska, Indonesia and Houston.
Andy serves on the board of directors of Aris Water Solutions, Inc. and Spindletop Community Impact Partners, Inc.
Andy is a chartered management accountant and graduated from the University of Plymouth in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
