At ConocoPhillips everything we do centers on our mission to power civilization. We recognize that human activity, including the burning of fossil fuels, is contributing to increased concentrations of greenhouse gas (GHG) in the atmosphere that can lead to adverse changes in global climate. While uncertainties remain over the extent of human contributions and the timing and magnitude of future impacts, we are committed to taking action. Our commitment to sustainable development provides the foundation for our actions, which focus on conducting business to promote economic growth, a healthy environment and vibrant communities, now and into the future.

Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)
The CDP is an independent not-for-profit organization that acts as an intermediary between shareholders and corporations on all climate change related issues, providing primary climate change data from the world’s largest corporations to the global market place. The annual CDP survey collects a wide range of information concerning corporate efforts to manage climate change issues. ConocoPhillips has participated in the survey since 2004. For more information visit the CDP website. Our most recent CDP submission can be found at COP 2012 CDP Response.
