In 2008, an appraisal well of the prior Raya discovery was drilled and showed the field to be subcommercial as an independent development. A 2-D seismic program is scheduled to commence in 2010.
Blocks 123 and 124
Operator: ConocoPhillips (100%)
Blocks 123 and 124 are located in the Marañón Basin and have a combined area of more than 5.5 million acres. ConocoPhillips signed license contracts for these two blocks in 2006.
Block 129
Operator: ConocoPhillips (100%)
Block 129 is located in the Marañón Basin and has an area of more than 1.1 million acres. In 2007, ConocoPhillips signed license contracts for this block and completed a high-resolution airborne gravity and magnetic survey over the block.
Block 104
Operator: ConocoPhillips (65.0%)
Co-venturer: Compañía Española de Petróleos S.A. (CEPSA) (35.0%)
Block 104 was relinquished in 2009.
