ConocoPhillips Small Biz Builder

ConocoPhillips Small Biz Builder is a U.S. initiative that seeks to strengthen local communities through the promotion and development of entrepreneurs and small businesses.
The ConocoPhillips Small Biz Builder program is a small business accelerator program that is open to entrepreneurs that are just starting out with an idea as well as entrepreneurs who are already in business and looking to take things to the next level. Participants commit to a series of in-person sessions over the course of six weeks provided by The University of Texas Permian Basin Office of Innovation & Commercialization and the UTPB Small Business Development Center. The program is delivered in select communities in Eddy and Lea counties in New Mexico, and Ward, Winkler, Ector and Midland counties in Texas. Program Benefits
Participants will separate into groups based on where they are at in their entrepreneurial journey and receive custom coaching to help them take the next step in starting and growing their small business.
- Early-Stage Entrepreneur Support through the CO.STARTERS Bootcamp designed to help Discover – Promote – Build – Launch new ventures
- Existing Entrepreneurial Coaching through the SBDC on select topics aimed at improving small business success
- Networking with likeminded entrepreneurs, community resource providers, and local mentors
Program Eligibility
Applications are open to small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs living and having a business in Eddy and Lea counties in New Mexico, and Ward, Winkler, Ector and Midland counties in Texas.
- Participants must be a start-up business owner with greater than 50% ownership
- Each application will be evaluated and vetted by a selection committee on a case-by-case basis
