Leads the teams responsible for commercial and strategy
Khoa Dao is senior vice president, Commercial and Strategy for ConocoPhillips. In this capacity, he leads the company’s strategy and long-term planning and oversees global commercial activities for natural gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG), crude oil, natural gas liquids and power.
Khoa has over 35 years of experience in the energy industry across upstream, midstream and power generation. He previously served in leadership roles as chief commercial officer; chief executive officer of Australia Pacific LNG; president, ConocoPhillips Australia; and vice president, Asset Development & Commercial, ConocoPhillips Canada. He has also held engineering, operations, commercial and business development roles in the United States, Vietnam and Indonesia.
Khoa graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering. He serves on the boards of the Asia Natural Gas and Energy Association (ANGEA), the University of Houston Bauer College and the Houston Symphony.
