One winner of our annual Supplier Recognition Awards was the Australian-based company Clough Amec Pty Ltd (CAPL). During 2018, CAPL provided the resources and supervision to execute a complex work scope offshore on the Bayu-Undan platform, including fabric maintenance, a major shutdown, infill drilling preparation and demobilization of the ASV. They maintained a strong focus on HSE performance and completed work on or ahead of schedule and below budget, while developing local content resources and helping ABU-West achieve its key 2018 operations business goals. While executing its work program, CAPL made a significant impact to ConocoPhillips’ local content commitments by managing the company’s 2018 enhanced local content development commitments (Graduate Intern Program); continuing a successful Timorese trades training program; and implementing a revised offshore organization structure to support maximizing the local content while staying engaged with all stakeholders.
