Approximately 170 residents from communities throughout central New Jersey gathered in Trenton on Wednesday, Sept. 19, to discuss the state’s and nation’s energy future. The Conversation on Energy town hall meeting was the 24th stop on ConocoPhillips’ 35-city listening tour. The evening provided an opportunity for guests to share views and gain insight and information from a panel of experts.
Luc Messier, senior vice president, Project Development, and Dewayne Black, director, Long Range Small Projects, represented ConocoPhillips on the panel. Other panelists included Lisa Jackson, commissioner, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection; Sara Bluhm, vice president, New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA); and Paul Falkowski, acting director, Rutgers Energy Institute. The meeting was moderated by Joan Verplanck, president of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce.
