Huntsville on Energy

More than 260 residents from communities throughout northern Alabama gathered in Huntsville on Tuesday, May 1, to discuss the state’s and nation’s energy future. Co-hosted by ConocoPhillips and The University of Alabama in Huntsville, the town hall meeting called on residents to share their views on energy issues and gain insight and information from a panel of experts. With support from more than 20 community partners across north Alabama – including Alabama A&M University, the city of Huntsville and the Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison – business leaders, key industry influencers and concerned citizens came together to exchange ideas on viable ways to secure the future of U.S. energy.
