Billings on Energy

Billings, MTThe first Conversation on Energy took place in Billings, Mont., on Nov. 28, 2006.  ConocoPhillips Chairman and CEO Jim Mulva and Merl Lindstrom, general manager, Research and Development, co-hosted the town hall meeting with Dr. Rickard, director of the Center for Applied Economic Research, Montana State University - Billings. Event panelists included representatives from the Montana Farm Bureau, the Alternative Energy Resources Organization, City of Billings Energy and Conservation Commission, and the Big Sky Economic Development Authority.

They addressed an audience of approximately 300 local citizens, who were invited to ask questions and offer comments and suggestions. Most topics of discussion centered around energy supply security and alternative forms of energy.
