DICKINSON, N.D. – ConocoPhillips today announced the presentation of $273,275 in charitable grants to 17 organizations in North Dakota.

Each year, ConocoPhillips invests in local communities through charitable giving, employee volunteering and sponsorships. This year’s donations are primarily targeted toward education, conservation, first responders and other local services. They also include a $100,000 donation to the Prairie Pothole Joint Venture that protects, restores and enhances high-priority wetland and grassland habitat to help sustain bird populations.

“At ConocoPhillips, we believe it’s important to build strategic relationships with organizations in the areas where we live and work,” said Peter Bazin, Williston operations and maintenance superintendent. “All of our philanthropic contributions this year are going to organizations that provide vital services to the local communities in North Dakota through local services or conservation, and we are pleased to be able to support their efforts.”
