OTC Distinguished Achievement Award for Individuals

ConocoPhillips' Chief Naval Architect Peter Noble was recently awarded the prestigious 2009 Offshore Technology Conference Distinguished Achievement Award for Individuals. Noble has been recognized for his creative design solutions as a naval architect over his 40-year career in offshore engineering, with a particular emphasis on LNG and arctic projects, combined with his enthusiastic support and mentoring of young professionals and students. Noble was presented with the award at the conference during a luncheon in May.

The Offshore Technology Conference is the premier offshore industry event for professionals, service industries and suppliers to gather and discuss common issues of ocean resource development.

“I’m quite surprised to be recognized in this way. I have had the good fortune to work with some really great people at Conoco Phillips and elsewhere over my career, and that has contributed significantly to any success I may have had as an individual,” Noble said.
