Frances M. (Fran) Vallejo is vice president and treasurer of ConocoPhillips.

Vallejo joined the company as a geophysicist in 1987 and worked in Exploration & Production’s seismic processing and interpretation technology groups in Bartlesville, Okla. In 1991, she transferred to the Bellaire, Texas, office to concentrate on seismic interpretation and then gas supply reporting in 1993. Beginning in 1994, she took an education hiatus, returning in 1996 to Bartlesville as finance associate in treasury. In 1999, she was named manager of strategic transactions, and in 2001 became assistant treasurer. She served as vice president, upstream planning & portfolio management from 2004-2007. Vallejo became general manager, corporate planning and budgets in July 2007, before being named to her current role in October 2008.

Vallejo is the past chairman of the 66 Federal Credit Union board of directors, and continues to serve as a director. She also is a 2007 graduate of the Center for Houston's Future Leadership Forum.

Born in Pueblo, Colo., Vallejo earned a bachelor’s degree in mineral engineering mathematics (geophysics specialty) from Colorado School of Mines in 1987. In 1996, she received a master of business administration degree in finance and international management from Rice University in Houston and was named a Jones scholar.
