ConocoPhillips has a preparedness plan in place to reduce the risk to employees and contractors should another pandemic occur. The company will communicate with employees promptly if and when another pandemic strain shows sustained human-to-human transmission.

World health officials continue to monitor the number of pandemic flu cases in humans and to consider the potential for worldwide influenza outbreaks.

Basic Prevention

• Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze, preferably with a disposable tissue or possibly your sleeve. 
• Wash hands frequently with warm soap and water, and for at least 20 seconds. 
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
