Salary:


We pay competitive base salaries, reflecting the individual’s role, responsibility and continuous performance.

Variable Compensation Scheme:


We operate a discretionary bonus scheme that is dependent upon both the company-wide and business unit performance throughout the year. This award may be further enhanced for individuals demonstrating exceptional performance.

Share scheme:


Staff employed by ConocoPhillips Norge are invited to participate in the company’s stock saving scheme where the company matches the individual’s contributions.

Pension and insurance plans:

 
ConocoPhillips Norge provides a defined benefit, final salary pension scheme which also includes coverage for disability and surviving spouse and children’s benefits. In addition, we provide appropriate insurance cover.

Holiday:


Employees working onshore may take up to five weeks vacation during the year. This may be increased to six weeks by extending each working day by ten minutes.

Offshore rotation:


According to current agreements, employees working offshore are on a 14 days on/28 days off schedule and vacation is included in the time off periods.

Family friendly benefits:


We support working parents and carers with a range of benefits including maternity/paternity, parental and other welfare leave in accordance with local legislation and practice. ConocoPhillips operates its own day-care centre for employees’ children in the immediate neighbourhood of the office premises. Employees working onshore also have the opportunity to rearrange working hours to optimise their work/life balance.

Professional and personal development:


Opportunities are provided for employees to further their professional development. Formal and on-the-job training is provided to enable employees to develop both current skills and new skills.

Transportation:


For staff living within the Stavanger/Jæren area, bus transportation is provided to and from the offices in Tananger.

Health and welfare promotions:

We encourage employees to continuously improve health and fitness through a series of health promotions and challenges. Gym facilities are provided in the main Tananger office and on our offshore installations, and arrangements are also in place for the use of external facilities. Our sports and social teams also provide the opportunity for employees to keep fit and meet some other like-minded colleagues.
