ConocoPhillips Announces Senior Management Change

HOUSTON, December 2, 2009 --- ConocoPhillips today announced that Larry E. Archibald, currently vice president, Exploration, will become senior vice president, Exploration and Business Development. In this expanded role, he will assume responsibilities for Exploration and Production global business development in addition to his current exploration responsibilities. Archibald will continue to report to John Carrig, president and chief operating officer, and will become a member of the ConocoPhillips management committee.
