To maintain the integrity of the Phillips image, consistent and proper use of all logo components is essential. Avoid any alterations to the logo components, including changes to color, size or placement that are not specifically defined as correct use variations within these standards.
The shield should not be hand drawn.
The examples below demonstrate some typical graphic mistreatments of the Phillips logo.
|
When the shield is printed on colored stock, the white is sacrificed and the red altered by the underlying paper color. Therefore light colored paper should be used. |
|
The black shield also can by used on one-color jobs using complementary color stocks other than black. |
Other incorrect uses
– DO NOT overlap the logotype and secondary graphic
– DO NOT transpose the logo colors
– DO NOT embellish the logo with drop shadows
