 76 logo

Seventy-six was first established as Union Oil in 1890, before the arrival of the first automobile, when the oil industry itself was barely thirty years old. The Union Oil logo was used for over forty years until the first 76 Gasoline was produced. From then on the 76 logo has been used and has evolved throughout the years. In the late 1960s the logo was incorporated into a Union logotype. Since then many products and divisions have developed, but all of them rely on the trust the public has developed for the familiar red and blue 76.
