Network Communities

Forging bonds. Fostering success.

It’s been said that to succeed in business, it takes connections. We agree. The connections we believe in are the ones borne out of a diverse workforce where people come together to share commonalties, respect differences, support each other, and reach out and give back to the communities to which we’re all connected.

The SPIRIT of ConocoPhillips is supported through the existence of eight self-directed employee network groups. Please take a quick moment to review them. It’s very likely you’ll make a connection with at least one.

Asian American Network (AAN)
Black Employee Network (BEN)
ConocoPhillips Administrative Network (CAN)
Hispanic Network (HN)
Native American Network (NAN)
New Hire Network (NHN)
Veterans and Military Employee Network
Women's Network (WN)

Asian American Network (AAN). In the interest of promoting a corporate culture that fully values the backgrounds, talents and perspectives of all employees, this group fosters an environment that empowers Asian-American employees to develop to their fullest potential. Through open communication and a desire to improve the Asian community through volunteerism, individuals maximize their contribution, sense of belonging and fulfillment.

Black Employee Network (BEN). Through a spirit of inclusiveness, cooperation and collaboration, the goal of BEN is multifaceted, that being: to increase corporate insight among people of African descent; to further empower employees by way of exchanging information and identifying and developing processes that will increase and reinforce their business skills; and to reach out and improve the community in which we operate. It’s a holistic approach that cultivates an individual’s ability to live up to their fullest potential professionally, personally and in the community at large.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ConocoPhillips Administrative Network (CAN). The whole focus of this all-administrative support network is to improve the way ConocoPhillips works. Included in open forum discussions are sharing and utilizing best practices, new technologies and work processes; pinpointing and eliminating non-value-adding work; and identifying and recommending career development and training opportunities.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hispanic Network (HN). Hispanic employees have formed a network to provide leadership on Hispanic and diversity issues and to promote a corporate environment that fully values and maximizes our rich and diverse backgrounds, talents and perspectives. The intent of the network is to empower, support and facilitate the development of Hispanics to their full potential in order to achieve individual, corporate and community objectives.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

New Hire Network (NHN). Whatever your discipline, if you’re new onboard, you’re in. Meet and network with fellow new hires in an informal setting while promoting professional growth.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Women’s Network (WN). Get together and get to know women whose backgrounds, skills and opinions are pure diversity in action. Freely exchange knowledge and experiences. This forum for facilitating the building of strong relationships through networking and sharing of perspectives and best practices helps develop, support and mentor one another.
